THE SAILING EXPERIENCE

Life aboard the boat is an essential part of the adventure—immersive, social, and full of unforgettable moments. Think of it as your floating basecamp, where you rest, recharge, and prepare for the next day’s climbing and sailing adventures.

Cozy & Comfortable Cabins

Guests stay in shared cabins featuring double-sized or bunk beds, designed for two people per cabin. While space is compact, it’s all about the experience—fall asleep to the sound of the sea and wake up ready for adventure.

A Shared Adventure

Just like in the mountains, teamwork is key! After a day of climbing, some will help stow the gear, others will cook, and a few will take on dishwashing duties—creating a dynamic, communal atmosphere.

Meals & Cooking Together

Food is fuel for adventure! Everyone takes turns preparing and cooking meals, making dining a social and rewarding part of the journey. Bring your favorite recipes and enjoy sharing meals under the open sky.

Sustainable Living at Sea

Like any true basecamp, resources are limited. Water and electricity need to be used mindfully, fostering a simple and eco-conscious way of living, fully connected to nature.

Recharge for the Next Challenge

The boat is more than just a means of travel—it’s a place to relax, share stories, and restore your energy before the next climb or sail. Whether it’s stretching on deck, enjoying a sunset swim, or simply lying under the stars, life onboard is all about balance.

WARNING: Unforgettable Friendships Ahead!

Life on a boat is fun, spontaneous, and incredibly rewarding. Be prepared to laugh, share stories, and create lifelong friendships with like-minded adventurers.

An ordinary day in Sardinia

Wake up to the gentle rocking of the boat, surrounded by Sardinia’s crystal-clear waters, among the most stunning in the Mediterranean. Start your day with a refreshing dive, then enjoy a fresh coffee as the adventure unfolds.

With the wind in our sails, we navigate along rugged coastlines and towering limestone cliffs, the tallest in the Mediterranean. Sailing grants us direct access to some of the island’s most beautiful and iconic crags, unreachable by land. We move effortlessly from one climbing spot to the next, explore hidden bays, swim between climbs, and fully embrace the beauty of boat life.

After an epic climbing session, we return to the boat, where the sunset casts golden hues over the cliffs. From this privileged vantage point, we admire the landscape while sipping a refreshing Aperol Spritz, toasting to another unforgettable day. As we sail toward our next anchorage, sharing stories over dinner, you’ll feel the magic of Sardinia—where towering cliffs meet the sea in perfect harmony.

Sardinia is a playground for climbers, sailors, and lovers of unspoiled nature.

Climbing style & rock type

Sardinia is a geological wonder, offering a diverse range of rock types. While limestone dominates, the island also features granite and basalt, providing a unique variety of climbing experiences.

Expect top-quality limestone, ranging from compact gray slabs with pockets and crimps to steep yellow and red overhangs filled with jugs, columns and tufas!

  • Slabs – Technical and precise climbing requiring balance and footwork.
  • Overhangs – Powerful, pumpy routes demanding strength and endurance.

Sardinia’s rock diversity guarantees an exciting challenge for every climber!

Level & skills

A good level of physical fitness is important for actively participating in daily activities such as rock climbing and hiking.

Our selected climbing crags offer a wide range of grades, ensuring that participants of all skill levels can enjoy and challenge themselves at their own pace. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced climber, there will always be suitable routes to match your ability and goals.

A professional mountain guide will be present throughout the trip to ensure safety, provide instruction, and support skill development. Less experienced climbers will receive expert guidance on technique, rope maneuvers, and outdoor climbing skills, while more experienced participants will have the freedom to climb independently under the guide’s supervision. This allows everyone to enjoy a safe, rewarding, and tailored climbing experience.

Sardinia’s biggest attraction is definitely the sea side having the most beautiful sandy beaches, the finest water colors and the most stunning marine landscapes. High mountains drop straight into the sea forming deep valleys and canyons. Enormous caves and natural arches interrupt the verticality of the cliffs and quiet sandy bays allow sailors to approach the coast. A real playground for climbers and trekkers wiling to discover the wild side of Sardinia.
Rock climbing on the island has grown enormously and no doubt Sardinia is among the best rock climbing destinations in Europe. Here you can climb on pure granite as well as on perfect limestone. Than you will move on and you will find conglomerate and even basalt…on a single island! All of the climbing styles are also present so there will be bouldering, sport climbing, trad climbing and multi-pitch climbing. Think that there are two guide books: one for sport climbing and one for multi-pitch climbing.
By sailing we will have direct access to some of the most beautifully and famous crags on the Island while enjoying the beauty of the boat life. We will sail from one crag to the other, explore hidden bays, fish our meals, swim in between the climbs and admire the landscape from a privileged point of view. In some areas we will even be able to start the climb right from the boat and every overhanging cliff will be good for testing our deep water solo skills.
All of this natural beauty is enriched by a thousand years old colture: ancient songs, crazy languages, weird buildings, sublime seafood and bush food. Leave at home everything you knew about Europe, Italy or the Mediterranean. Come with us to explore a world on his own, where everything is different, where everything looks, tastes, sails and climbs better.

Cala Gonone

It is our most popular tour aimed to explore the area where rock climbing first developed 50 years ago. We will first sail to the Tavolara Island where we will climb the breathtaking via ferrata “Ferrata deli Angeli”. Sailing south we will reach Cala Gonone where we will focus on climbing some of the most iconic climbs in Sardinia like the Guglia of Cala Goloritze, the overhanging tufas of Millennium Cave, the multi pitch climbs of Pedra Longa and the beach crags of Cala di Luna and Cala Fuili.

Maddalena Archipelago and Bonifacio

We will be sailing in the UNESCO World Heritage of Maddalena Archipelago and Bocche di Bonifacio dropping the anchor on the most beautiful islands. Creeks and bays with emerald blu water will be our home for the week. We will explore all the most suggestive corners of the archipelago like the pink beach on Budelli Island and the ancient stronghold of Bonifacio in Corsica. The highlights of the tour will be: the ascension of the via ferrata “Ferrata degli Angeli” on Tavolara Island, the multi-pitch climbing in Capo Testa and the bouldering on the remote Lavezzi Island and on the beaches of Capineru and Roccapina.

Selvaggio Blu by Boat

The “Selvaggio blu” (savage blu) is considered to be one of the toughest and most beautiful trekking in Europe. It is an incredible and unique 6 days hike fully immersed in the Sardina’s wilderness following the ancient paths of shepherds and coal men. The logistical support of the boat will allow the trekkers to hike light without having to carry with them all the supplies for a week (water should otherwise also be carried). The boat will sail along the coast to meet them every evening at a bay where trekkers will be able to restore and have a comfortable sleep. Some of the stages could be done by sailing if someone wishes a rest day.
