THE SAILING EXPERIENCE

Life aboard the boat is an essential part of the adventure—immersive, social, and full of unforgettable moments. Think of it as your floating basecamp, where you rest, recharge, and prepare for the next day’s climbing and sailing adventures.

Cozy & Comfortable Cabins

Guests stay in shared cabins featuring double-sized or bunk beds, designed for two people per cabin. While space is compact, it’s all about the experience—fall asleep to the sound of the sea and wake up ready for adventure.

A Shared Adventure

Just like in the mountains, teamwork is key! After a day of climbing, some will help stow the gear, others will cook, and a few will take on dishwashing duties—creating a dynamic, communal atmosphere.

Meals & Cooking Together

Food is fuel for adventure! Everyone takes turns preparing and cooking meals, making dining a social and rewarding part of the journey. Bring your favorite recipes and enjoy sharing meals under the open sky.

Sustainable Living at Sea

Like any true basecamp, resources are limited. Water and electricity need to be used mindfully, fostering a simple and eco-conscious way of living, fully connected to nature.

Recharge for the Next Challenge

The boat is more than just a means of travel—it’s a place to relax, share stories, and restore your energy before the next climb or sail. Whether it’s stretching on deck, enjoying a sunset swim, or simply lying under the stars, life onboard is all about balance.

WARNING: Unforgettable Friendships Ahead!

Life on a boat is fun, spontaneous, and incredibly rewarding. Be prepared to laugh, share stories, and create lifelong friendships with like-minded adventurers.

An ordinary day in Amalfi Coast

The day begins with the golden sun rising over the breathtaking Italian coastline, a true representation of La Dolce Vita. The picturesque villages of the Amalfi Coast, with their pastel-colored houses and vibrant terraces, set the scene for a day filled with adventure, culture, and relaxation.

We start by disembarking in a charming seaside town, where we enjoy breakfast at a historic pasticceria from 1830, savoring homemade sweets and a rich Italian espresso, just as the locals have for generations. Energized for the day, we stroll through ancient villages steeped in history, where narrow cobblestone streets lead to hidden ceramic workshops, centuries-old churches, and breathtaking rock climbing crags overlooking the Mediterranean.

After an exhilarating climbing session, we return to the boat to cool off with a refreshing swim in a secluded bay or simply relax on deck, soaking in the magic of the Amalfi Coast from a privileged point of view. On our way back, we make a well-earned stop for an authentic Italian gelato, the perfect treat to celebrate another incredible day.

As the sun dips behind the iconic sea stacks of Capri, we venture into hidden sea caves, exploring natural wonders shaped by centuries of waves and even throwing in some deep water solo moves on the cave ceilings. In the evening, we step ashore to a family-run trattoria, where the aromas of homemade pasta and fresh seafood welcome us for a night of delicious food, local wine, and laughter.

Climbing style & rock type

The Amalfi Coast offers excellent limestone, with a diverse mix of technical slabs and overhanging routes set against breathtaking coastal scenery.

  • Climbing Style – Generally technical, requiring precision and good footwork on slabs, while overhangs provide more powerful challenges.
  • Unique Setting – The crags are located in stunning, dramatic landscapes, rising directly from the vertical coastline, creating an unforgettable climbing experience.

With a dense concentration of crags, the Amalfi Coast is a paradise for climbers looking for both challenge and beauty.

Level & skills

A good level of physical fitness is important for actively participating in daily activities such as rock climbing and hiking.

Our selected climbing crags offer a wide range of grades, ensuring that participants of all skill levels can enjoy and challenge themselves at their own pace. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced climber, there will always be suitable routes to match your ability and goals.

A professional mountain guide will be present throughout the trip to ensure safety, provide instruction, and support skill development. Less experienced climbers will receive expert guidance on technique, rope maneuvers, and outdoor climbing skills, while more experienced participants will have the freedom to climb independently under the guide’s supervision. This allows everyone to enjoy a safe, rewarding, and tailored climbing experience.

The Amalfi Coast starts just south of Naples and it runs for 50km through one of the most spectacular stretches of coast in the world. High mountains with pine trees forests drop vertically into the emerald waters of the Mediterranean sea. Rocky cliffs, caves and natural arches surround the villages. Thousands of steps carved in the rock connect the hamlets among them through paths immersed in flowers and lemon trees. Each tiny crossroad leads to a place to discover: ancient castles, ruins, cemeteries and churches. Olive groves provide the shade while vineyards and orchards give a touch of color to the fairy-tale setting.
By the seaside ancient villages follow one another sharing the little patches of land available. Even three of them are part of “I borghi più belli d’Italia”, a selection of the most beautiful and unique hamlets of the country. Very surprising for such a tiny stretch of coast! With Capri Island and the mediterranean sea in the background, we will sail and moor our boat to many of them: Vietri, Cetara, Erchie, Furore, Maiori, Minori, Atrani, Amalfi, Conca dei Marini, Positano, Capri Island…
Amalfi is the village that gives the name to the coast. Between the years 830 and 1.131’s Amalfi was in fact a maritime republic and its richness and wealth contributed in the growth of the nearby villages. As evidence of its great past, we can still admire the magnificent cathedral dominating the central square. Here, more than in any other destination, we can experience the place in its entirety, ranging from art to nature and from history to cuisine: entering Amalfi from the sea, climbing among the ruins of an ancient castle, visiting the astonishing cathedral and delight our selfs in one of the best Bakeries in the world (Bakery since 1830).
Farther west, Positano is probably the most scenographic village ever. A postcard in real life! Mostly famous for being a VIP destination, it is certainly underestimated for its outdoors potential. Being surrounded by an enormous amount off rock, is the heart of rock climbing in the area. Zigzagging through the yachts in the bay, we will disembark with our dingy on Positano’s beach. From there a lovely hike through Positano’s alleys, perhaps interrupted to enjoy the real Italian espresso or a fresh lemon “gelato”, will lead us to beautiful limestone crags suspended on the mountain. Once on the wall, things will get very fun with holes, jugs and tufas of every size, while the sensation of hanging above the Amalfi Coast will make the climbing memorable.
The highlight of the week will be to rock climb directly from the sea! On our way to Capri Island, the crag of Punta Campanella will be perfect to approach this climbing style, having many climbing routes of all levels as well as some stunning multi-pitch climbs starting right from the sea. We will practice here how to disembark from the dingy and begin the climb from where the waves crash. On the next day we will sail to Capri Island and, thanks to the experience gained, we will aim to the highlight of the tour: to rock-climb on Capri’s famous sea stacks!
